Les Gillett Captures PAAA Award Monday, August 21st , 2051 Les Gillett demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the USPL Triple A Player of the Week Award. The Kansas first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .500 average (9-for-18) with 2 home runs and 4 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. Thus far this year Gillett is hitting .289 with 6 home runs, 18 RBIs and 26 runs scored. |
