Season-Ending Injury for Gus Johnson
Saturday, August 12th , 2051
The doctors have spoken and Gus Johnson of the Pawnee ParksNRec didn't like what he heard. The 30-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Johnson sustained his season-ending injury during the Sioux Falls Red Pandas game yesterday at The Bamboo Forest. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Pawnee medical staff reported Johnson had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months.
This year Johnson has 1 save in 21 relief appearances with a 0-0 record and 2.04 ERA.
