Henry at His Best, Blanks Hartford
Thursday, July 13th , 2051
Dennis Henry handcuffed the Hartford Pride at Pride Park today, coming away with a 5-hit, complete game shutout.
"I had everything working for me out there," the Port Huron Blitzkrieg left-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted."
With his stuff working, Henry had little trouble with the Pride and led the Blitzkrieg to victory, 7-0. He recorded 4 strikeouts and 1 walk in an impressive performance.
To date in the season, Henry is 4-2 with no relief appearances and no saves. He has held opposing batters to a .193 average, pitched 60.2 innings, struck out 54 and walked 18 while recording a 2.52 ERA.
