Aalbers Bewilders Elite, 8-0 Saturday, September 30th , 2051 Volmer Aalbers was dynamite at Detroit Stadium today, blowing away the Detroit Elite in a shutout victory. The Toledo Stingers starter had everything working as he held the Elite to 3 hits in the 8-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Detroit skipper Dustin Hewitt. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Aalbers finished the game with 10 strikeouts and 1 walk.
