Kofod Captures 2051 Newcomer of the Year Award Friday, November 3rd , 2051 For a rookie, Jason Kofod threw the ball with great poise and confidence, so much so, that he will receive the celebrated United States Silver League Newcomer of the Year Award. He made 21 starts and registered a 10-3 won-lost record and a 3.54 ERA, collected 145 strikeouts in 127 innings and held opponents to a .239 average. Guy Riggs of the Panama City Piranhas finished second in voting, while Mito Kawamura of the Baltimore Bullets finished third. |
