Butler's Great Year Nets Outstanding Pitcher Award Friday, November 3rd , 2051 The United States Silver League has heralded Pat Butler of the Panama City Piranhas as the #1 man on the mound for the 2051 campaign. This year's Outstanding Pitcher Award winner stood out by running up an impressive 10-4 record, holding opposing hitters to a .248 batting average and posting a 3.10 ERA. The 30-year-old hurler tossed 162.1 innings, gave up 154 hits, fanned 193 and issued 35 walks. Earl Hurdle of the Nova Scotia Leviathan finished second in voting, while Kjeld Burger of the Oakland Oaks finished third. |
