Tom Bleasdale Gets MVP Trophy Friday, November 3rd , 2051 The future looks extremely bright for Tom Bleasdale. At the age of 25, many players are still trying to find their way in United States Silver League. Bleasdale has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the United States Silver League Outstanding Hitter Award. "I didn't expect to hit .319 this year, that's for sure," the left fielder said. The Oakland Oaks star also put up a .413 on-base percentage this year, with 128 hits, 34 doubles, 1 triple, 19 home runs, 56 RBIs and 81 runs scored. Lorenzo García of the Oakland Oaks finished second in voting, while Jon Griffin of the Echo Park Lakers finished third. |
