Matsumoto Selected Player of the Week Monday, August 14th , 2051 Tetsu Matsumoto did nothing to hurt his value as an upcoming free agent last week, making contact with the ball at every opportunity and reeling in the United States Silver League Player of the Week Award. The third baseman hit .364 for the Cattlemen, recording 8 hits in 22 at-bats, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This season Matsumoto has delivered 67 hits in 282 at-bats for a .238 average with 17 home runs. He is getting on base at a .328 clip and his totals also include 45 RBIs and 39 runs scored.
