Matsumoto Parks 3 for Ft. Worth Friday, August 11th , 2051 The Baltimore Bullets won't soon forget the display of raw power put on today by Tetsu Matsumoto of the Ft. Worth Cattlemen. He victimized the Bullets by pounding three pitches out of The Cattle Pen to spark his club to the 10-5 win. "I got three pitches down the pipe and popped them," Matsumoto told reporters. "Today I was in a groove. Tomorrow, I could just pop up the same pitches and go 0-for-3." In addition to the homers, he collected 7 RBIs and scored 5 runs. Tetsu Matsumoto hit a two-run home run off Burian Polyn in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Burian Polyn in the 4th, walked in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Bill Terry in the 8th. Matsumoto is hitting at a .237 mark this season. His stats show 17 home runs, 45 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has played 74 games for the Cattlemen. |
