Vickers of Myrtle Beach Crowned Best Player Monday, August 21st , 2051 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Richie Vickers was rewarded with the USPL Single A Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Myrtle Beach Seahawks center fielder hit .444 while collecting 8 hits in 18 at-bats, 1 home run and 7 RBIs. This year Vickers is hitting .252 with 12 home runs and 35 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .334 clip and scored 36 runs. |
