Jones Gets Award for Relief Work Wednesday, September 20th , 2051 He may only be 21, but Victor Jones of the Matlacha Manatees has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the USSL Single A. The reliever was today named the SA Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2051. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 37 saves in 44 relief appearances and 72 strikeouts in 49.1 innings. He had a record of 2-1 to go with his 0.91 ERA. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Silas Brown of the Matlacha Manatees finished second in voting, while José Vargas of the Yucca Valley Yellows finished third.
