August's #1 Hurler Announced: Wolf Friday, September 1st , 2051 When Pleun Wolf takes the hill, there's a good chance for a Yucca Valley victory. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 4-0 mark and a 0.94 ERA in 4 starts, tossed 28.2 innings, fanned 38, and held enemy hitters to a .137 average. That's why the Yellows star was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the USSL Single A. To date this year Wolf has compiled a 11-6 mark with a 2.44 ERA in 18 starts. |
