Erilov Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Thursday, July 20th , 2051 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Levushka Erilov did it again, bashing 2 hits in the contest at Fuller Park today. For the last 20 games in a row, the 23-year-old center fielder has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Matlacha Manatees beat the Delmarva Gallos 4-2 today. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," Erilov told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Matlacha clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Levushka Erilov singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, walked in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Erilov is presently hitting at a .342 pace with 13 home runs, 46 RBIs and has scored 31 times. |
