Glenn No-Hits Godfathers
Monday, May 8th , 2051
The Rocky Mountain Vibes relied on no-hit stuff from starter Julian Glenn to defeat the Pontiac Godfathers 3-0 at Pontiac Copperdome today.
"It's quite a thrill," Glenn told the media afterward. "This is a top-notch league. A no-hitter against any team in the league is something special. I can't believe I did it."
To get his name logged in the M3L Single A records, he stopped Pontiac cold and hitless, surrendering 3 walks and fanning 12 of the 31 batters he faced.
Rocky Mountain manager John Simpson was in a jovial mode after the game, kidding with reporters that Glenn "made managing easy today."
"I didn't have hardly any decisions to make like I usually do," he said. "I didn't even have to come up with a pinch hitter."
