Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Liu Wednesday, September 20th , 2051 When Hong-bo Liu jogged in from the bullpen this season, opposing teams knew they were going to have a tough time putting up runs. The Belleville Bulls starting pitcher turned in a dominant campaign and has been named the M3L Single A Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2051. His award-winning season saw the bullpen ace get 2 saves in 34 relief appearances, 56 strikeouts in 57.2 innings and only 7 walks. He had a record of 6 wins and 3 losses to go with his 1.72 ERA. "I hope I can pitch like this every year," he said. He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 12. Tom Doyle of the Mancelona Torch finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Jami Jokinen of the Niagara Falls Expos finished third.
