3A Presents Batter of Month Trophy to Cordero Tuesday, August 1st , 2051 For a rookie just breaking in, Tony Cordero certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the 3A Batter of the Month award for July. The 24-year-old third baseman for the Belleville Bulls hit .256 with 7 home runs, 17 RBIs and 18 runs scored. To date, Cordero has collected 46 hits for a .214 average. He has posted 15 home runs, scored 39 runs and driven in 33 runs. |
