Bulls Cordero and Torch Sánchez Suspended for Fight Thursday, June 8th , 2051 After an intense confrontation, both the Bulls Tony Cordero and the Torch Ramón Sánchez were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Belleville-Mancelona game. Tony Cordero will miss 3 games, while Ramón Sánchez was suspended for 7 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Tony Cordero commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." In his season totals Cordero has 7 home runs and a .196 batting average. |
