It's Official: Thomas Will Retire Monday, September 11th , 2051 Melvin Thomas said the one thing he hopes he's remembered for in his baseball career is for being the hardest worker around. It will be time to start reflecting on his career soon, as the 39-year-old Hollywood Shredders second baseman today announced his retirement from the sport. "I pride myself on my work ethic and I hope that rubbed off on my teammates and continues to rub off on the team after I'm gone," he said. In his career Thomas is hitting .274 with a total of 143 home runs. |
