5-Hit Blitz by Mississippi's Mansilha Thursday, August 31st , 2051 It was high-fives all around for Marços Mansilha at Magnolia Park today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Greenville 84s. Mansilha smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 5-4 win. "Marços was hitting everything," said Mockingbirds manager Beau Carsten. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, 84s manager John Bosma told BNN beat writers that Mansilha "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Mansilha oversleeps next time." Marços Mansilha singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Anthony Hurst in the 8th, hit an RBI double in the 9th and hit an RBI double in the 11th.
