Gaufi Collects Cycle Tuesday, June 13th , 2051 In an outing that will go down in the annals of baseball history, Colorado first baseman Alanzo Gaufi hit for the cycle today as the Billy Goats marched to victory over the Las Vegas Flamingos, 4-3. Gaufi collected 4 hits in 4 at-bats, including 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. He added 1 RBI and 2 runs scored to help Colorado take the The Strip contest. "It was the last thing on my mind, really," Gaufi said. "I'm out there trying to get a blooper or a walk or whatever might help the team. Even if I had wanted to, hitting for the cycle is probably as much about luck as about skill anyway."
