Boston Wins at Home to Take 3-2 Lead in R2
The Boston Patriots moved to within one game of the Tournament of Champions today, downing the visiting Buffalo White Walkers at Dunkin Donuts Park by a score of 8-3. Patriots right-hander Iiri Lahti had a strong outing in which he threw 9.0 innings of 7-hit ball. The win gives the Patriots a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-5 ToC Semi-Finals.

Lahti allowed 3 runs on 7 hits over 9 innings for the Patriots. He walked 1 and struck out 12.

Lahti told a Boston Times reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
