Buffalo Win to Pull Even With Boston
|
With catcher Eduardo Lucciardi leading the charge, the Buffalo White Walkers got a road win over the Boston Patriots, 5-2, in Game 2 of the ToC Semi-Finals today. Lucciardi was 3-3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs at Dunkin Donuts Park to help Buffalo force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.
Rubén Nuañez, the three-time Gold Glove winner , had a direct impact on the outcome. Nuañez contributed a 2-run triple in the top of the first inning to put Buffalo up, 3-0.
"Things broke our way today and that's great," White Walkers manager Chris Lau said. "It's important, though, to stay focused and not pat yourself on the back too much. We aren't done yet."
The next game is set to be played for Tuesday, October 10th , 2051 at Beyond the Wall in Buffalo.
