NORFOLK PAJARITOS AT MILTON DOGFISH HEAD

SL AAA Championship Sweep for Milton
It was a glorious moment for Dogfish Head fans today as Milton claimed the 2051 SL AAA Championship title with a 3-0 victory at Milton Corner Tavern.

Jubilant Milton players swamped each other on the diamond after completing a dominant sweep of the Norfolk Pajaritos, as chants of "Thank you, Dogfish Head" reverberated all around the ballpark.

In the losing dugout, sadness reigned. Pajaritos skipper José Rodríguez told reporters it was "hard to describe" the feeling of losing in the SL AAA Championship.

"Your heart is heavy, you are hurting -- it's a very difficult time," he said. "And to be swept is embarrassing. You just want to forget it ever happened."

For the Milton Dogfish Head, it was a season to remember. They finished the regular season with a record of 65-37, good enough for first place in the Silver AAA. Then they topped it off by winning the SL AAA Championship 2-0.
