Oakland used the clutch hitting of Sung-jae Hong to capture the win. The catcher drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Oaks the lead, 4-3. For the game, Hong had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Hong. "And not try to do too much."
