Rocketeers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Cattlemen
|
The MSL Seattle Rocketeers defeated the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 6-5. Doing his part was third baseman José Águila, who went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Juan Polanco, credited with the win, is now 3-1. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits. The Rocketeers improve their record to 23-23 with the win over MSL Ft. Worth.
Águila had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a first pitch fastball from Romain Prigent, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Rocketeers a 6-4 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for Águila.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Águila.
