Despite a great performance by MSL Nova Scotia center fielder Dani Taváres, the MSL Panama City Piranhas defeated the Leviathan by the score of 8-4 at MSL Nova Scotia Ballpark. Taváres went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Alfredo Núñez picked up the save, his 7th. The Piranhas now have a mark of 27-17.

MSL Panama City relied on the hitting of Marcel Alberink to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Piranhas on top, 6-4. For the game, Alberink had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Winning is the only objective," said Alberink after the game.
