In a low-scoring affair between the MSL Echo Park Lakers and the MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes, pitcher Giustino Cotichini was the difference between victory and defeat. The MSL Echo Park right-hander earned accolades in the 3-2 Lakers win. MSL Echo Park now has a 3-game win streak.
Kenny Hamilton took José de Jesús Ramos deep in the bottom of the third. His 2-run home run put the Lakers on top, 2-1. In all, Hamilton had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
