Sinfronio Tiongson pitched well, but the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids still lost the game, falling 3-0 to the MSL Seattle Rocketeers at MSL Northern Virginia Ballpark. Earning his 1st save of the year was Héctor Martínez. The Rocketeers are now 14-12, while the Rainbow Mermaids fall to 13-13.
The Rocketeers grabbed the lead in the top of the fifth. With one out, Daniel Colle hit a solo home run off Sinfronio Tiongson, putting MSL Seattle in front, 2-0. For Colle, it was his 2nd home run of the season.
Colle attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
