Streaking Lakers Win Another One, 3-0
The MSL Echo Park Lakers picked up a win at MSL Baltimore Ballpark, knocking off the MSL Baltimore Bullets, 3-0. On the mound for MSL Echo Park was right-hander Giustino Cotichini, who played a pivotal role in the win. Cotichini, now 5-2, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing no runs. MSL Echo Park has now won 9 straight.

With no one out in the top of the fourth, Luis Martínez barreled up a fastball from Akil bin Abbud. The result was a solo home run, putting the Lakers in front, 2-0.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said MSL Baltimore skipper Jonah Moody, "and it cost us."
