The bats were silent much of the day at MSL Nova Scotia Ballpark. But Ultse Burgemeester conjured up just enough offense to carry the Leviathan past the MSL Baltimore Bullets, 3-2. Burgemeester went 2-4 with 2 home runs. Claudio Rúbio, credited with the win, is now 1-2. He allowed no runs on no hits. The win gives the Leviathan a record of 3-20.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Burgemeester hit a changeup from Álex Encarnación for a solo home run. The Leviathan, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Exhilarating win," said Burgemeester.
