MSL Cape Coral took on MSL Northern Virginia in front of a lively crowd.

The MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes defeated the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 10-4, at MSL Northern Virginia Ballpark today. Leading the charge for MSL Cape Coral was second baseman Qi-chang Li. He went 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Rafael Souza, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.

MSL Cape Coral first baseman Seong-ho Mok helped his team get ahead early. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he grounded out, driving in 1 run.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Li told the MSL Cape Coral Daily News. "It's as simple as that."

The win moves MSL Cape Coral to a record of 2-4.
