Ledesma Homers Twice in 9-8 Billy Goats Win
The MSL Colorado Billy Goats and MSL Hollywood Shredders obliged fans looking for a good time.

In a high-scoring contest between MSL Colorado and MSL Hollywood, right fielder Irving Ledesma was a difference-maker. Ledesma, who is tied for 9th in the PMSL in runs scored with 32, distinguished himself in the 9-8 MSL Colorado win. He went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The winner was Shusui Ichihara in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Javier López took the loss. Nicholas Orr locked down his 5th save.

Mart Vroom, not known for his power, had a big at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth. That's when he connected on a changeup from Javier López for a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season put MSL Colorado in front, 9-6.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Vroom told the MSL Colorado News.

MSL Colorado, at 25-18, occupies third place in the PL MSL.
