Despite a great performance by Panama City second baseman Anthony Hollis, the Oakland Oaks defeated the Piranhas by the score of 8-6 at The Tank. Hollis was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Nick Joseph was the winning pitcher. Over 5.1 innings, he allowed 6 runs on 8 hits, with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts. Earning his 1st save of the year was Andy Dundee.

Also having an impact was center fielder John Johnson, who stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fourth for Oakland. For the game, Johnson was 1 for 4 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
