Billy Goats Beat Kingfishers, 4-2
The MSL Colorado Billy Goats picked up a win at MSL Colorado Ballpark, knocking off the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers, 4-2. On the mound for MSL Colorado was left-hander Logan Wrighton, who played a pivotal role in the win. Wrighton went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 8. His record improves to 3-1. Dick Verboven earned the save, his 1st, for the Billy Goats.

The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Dick Verboven didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and MSL Pittsburgh trailing 4-2, Verboven retired Ieyoshi Saito to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Verboven, with a wink.

At 17-13, the Billy Goats find themselves in 4th place in the PL MSL.
