Kingfishers Get Close Win Over Dirty Reds, 3-2
The MSL San Mateo Dirty Reds went down to defeat to Gerrit Provoost and his MSL Pittsburgh teammates. The final score was 3-2 in favor of the Kingfishers. MSL Pittsburgh, now 7-9, holds down 6th place in the PL MSL.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 2-2, pinch hitter Ricardo Vege won it for MSL Pittsburgh. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Vege hit a 1-1 fastball from Brent van Wijk for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 3-2 win.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Vege said in his postgame press conference.
