Patriots Stay Hot With 11-3 Win
The MSL Boston Patriots topped the MSL San Mateo Dirty Reds, 11-3, in USPL Mexican Summer League action at MSL San Mateo Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to MSL Boston pitcher and San José, Costa Rica, native Tony Arce. The winning pitcher was Arce, now 4-0. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 8. Orlando Lizardia earned the save for MSL Boston, his 2nd.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Víctor Sánchez? The MSL Boston right fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Patriots on top, 3-0. For the game, Sánchez had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"We came out aggressive," said Patriots manager David Henderson. "We came out swinging the bats."
