Kingfishers Subdue MSL Mississippi, 3-1

The MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers tallied a win at MSL Mississippi Ballpark, throttling the MSL Mississippi Mockingbirds, 3-1. Starting pitcher William Hood was a big reason for his team's success. Hood, now 1-2, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. The 'W' lifts MSL Pittsburgh's record to 5-6.
Faycal Lacroix put MSL Pittsburgh in front, 3-0, when he took Jose Sánchez downtown. His 2-run home run came with two out in the top of the first. It was his 3rd home run of the season.
