Voodoo Knock Off Mockingbirds, 8-2

The MSL New Orleans Voodoo beat the MSL Mississippi Mockingbirds, 8-2, at MSL New Orleans Ballpark. The Voodoo got a fine performance from left fielder Tom Windus, who went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs. Rijk Leenderts got the save, the 1st for him this season. MSL Mississippi now has a record of 1-7.
Kazuma Komatsu put MSL New Orleans in front, 8-2, when he hit a grand slam home run off Maxime Casoli in the bottom of the sixth. It was his 1st home run of the season.
"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Windus told the MSL New Orleans Today.
