Shredders Pick Up 6-2 Win
|
The MSL Hollywood Shredders got a strong performance from pitcher Anthon Arents, who stymied the MSL Buffalo offense en route to a win, 6-2, at MSL Hollywood Ballpark. The loss puts MSL Buffalo at 5-2.
The White Walkers had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Shredders going into the bottom of the third inning. That changed quickly when the 16-year old left fielder Mitsuo Suzuki came to the plate. Suzuki hit a grand slam home run on a 1-0 fastball from MSL Buffalo hurler José Carmona. It was Suzuki's 2nd home run of the year.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Suzuki told the MSL Hollywood Citizen. "It's as simple as that."
