Big Day for Kodo as Trash Pandas Down Ducks, 9-2
The Watford City Trash Pandas topped the Long Island Ducks, 9-2, with youngster Munoto Kodo playing a key role. Kodo was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5 for the Trash Pandas in the win. Ron Thomas got credit for the win, improving to 6-5. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits in 5 innings. Ryobe Kikuchi converted his 1st save in 2 tries.

Kodo made an early impact for Watford City when he stroked his 11th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which came in the top of the second, put the Trash Pandas on top, 6-0.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said Long Island manager Mike Simpson.
