Northwest Territory picked up a win at Beaver Town, toppling the Capital Hill Interns, 6-2. Pitcher Esam bin Ahmad was one of the reasons the Beavers triumphed. bin Ahmad, the winner, moves to 9-3. He threw 8 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 2 walks. Yunus bin Ka'im was called on to finish, recording his 23rd save.
Kwang-ho Won tagged a home run off Allan Edrada in the bottom of the sixth. His solo blast put the Beavers on top, 3-2. In all, Won had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said bin Ahmad.
The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Beavers.
