Skidding Trash Pandas Lose 6th Straight
|
Munoto Kodo did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Watford City Trash Pandas from losing, 5-4, to the Northwest Territory Beavers at Beaver Town. Kodo went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Watford City's current losing streak has reached 6 games.
The game was at a stalemate until catcher Benton Schnatter came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Watford City pitcher Horace Bender, he hit a 1-0 cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Northwest Territory on top, 5-4.
"Been a rough stretch for us," said Watford City manager Bob Sosa.
