Cattlemen Saddle Flamingos with 7-5 Loss
The Las Vegas Flamingos and Ft. Worth Cattlemen were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Despite a great performance by Las Vegas first baseman Pedro Basconcillos, the Ft. Worth Cattlemen defeated the Flamingos by the score of 7-5 at The Strip. Basconcillos went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. With the victory, the Cattlemen record now stands at 25-26.

Dídac Nores took Alan Halsall deep in the top of the first. His 2-run home run put the Cattlemen on top, 2-0. In all, Nores had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 5.

"We take it day by day here," said Nores, "and today was a good one for us."
