Petty Lifts Flamingos to Win
The Las Vegas Flamingos topped the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 3-2. Sidney Petty, who is tied for 6th in the SL with a 0.94 WHIP, engineered a dominant performance. With the win, the Flamingos improved to 28-22.

Petty threw well for Las Vegas, thwarting the Ft. Worth offense. The right-hander tossed 93 pitches over 9 innings. He allowed just 2 runs on 4 hits.

"Tough loss," said Ft. Worth manager Scott Thompson. "But we'll learn from it."
