Toros Reel Off Another Win
Toros Ballpark was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.

In a tight game between the Tijuana Toros and the Flint Crush, pitcher Takakazu Ishihara was terrific on the mound. The Tijuana right-hander helped his team to the 2-1 win. Ishihara went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 3-7. Michael Humphreys got the save, the 11th for him this season.

With one out in the bottom of the seventh, Sergio Guerrero had a game-changing hit. The Toros second baseman slammed a run-scoring single off José Reyes, making the score 2-1, Tijuana.

"We did just enough to win," Guerrero said.

The 10th-place Toros raised their record to 22-32.
