The Memphis Music dumped the North Ft. Myers Gators, 5-3, in large part due to left fielder Amos Burton. On the day, Burton went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Music. Gilberto Cruz picked up the win, improving his season record to 10-2. He struck out 7 in 5.1 innings. Memphis is sitting pretty at 67-29.

Burton had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a run-scoring double. The Music went on to win.
