Las Vegas got a first-rate effort from pitcher Sergio Tacuri, who frustrated Nova Scotia hitters en route to a 1-0 Flamingos triumph at The Dungeon in Halifax. The win gives Las Vegas a season record of 23-20.

Tacuri, who dominated for Las Vegas, earned the victory to move to 4-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 3 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 5. Nova Scotia batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Tacuri told the Las Vegas Times.
