Cuda Plays Big Role in Ogallala Win
|
The Ogallala Octopi picked up a win at Nebraska Aquarium, knocking off the Flint Crush, 7-1. Starting pitcher Barry Cuda played a key role in the triumph. Picking up the save was Bill Anderson, his 1st. Flint, now 2-11, continues its dreadful start.
Cuda, who was born in Irving, Texas, threw 93 pitches over 7.2 innings, while allowing 1 run.
"Barry was throwing free and easy," said Ogallala manager Félix Cruz.
