Sea Dogs Curb Warheads, 10-3
|
Max Hoban was a vital contributor to the 10-3 Maine victory over Amarillo. The Sea Dogs right fielder went 2-3 with a triple and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Rick Behan collected his 2nd save. With the win, the Sea Dogs improved to 24-27.
Maine relied on the hitting of Carlos Serrano to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sea Dogs on top, 10-3. For the game, Serrano had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"Good win for us," said Hoban. "We'll lace up our cleats and go after the next one."
