Suarze Slugs Crossbeaus to 4-2 Win
|
No one was more impactful than Juan Suarze in the 4-2 Beaumont win over Fort Knox. Suarze, who leads the PA- in stolen bases with 39, was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. The winner was Reynaldo López, who threw 98 pitches over 5 innings. The left-hander was charged with 2 runs on 4 hits. The victory puts Beaumont at 39-57.
Suarze had a big hit for Beaumont with one out in the top of the fifth. With Beaumont leading 1-0, Suarze hit a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Crossbeaus up, 3-0.
